The machine access definition in the Definitions part of the Load Definition File provides the information necessary for connecting to a machine for the purpose of identifying documents to be scanned and for scanning the documents for data.
A machine access definition is defined by the following properties:

Name to uniquely identify the machine access definition. |

IP Address |
IP address of the machine containing the documents and upon which the satellite applications DirList and ScanDoc are running. |

DirList Port |
Port used to access DirList for the purpose of returning a list of documents to be scanned. |
|
ScanDoc Port |
Port used to access ScanDoc for the purpose of returning data for storage and indexing from scanned documents. |
