The slot count property of the timeline index is the number of slots in the timeline.

Example

In the example above the entire timeline maps the first 14 days of 2001, since the base time is January 1, 2001; the interval is 1 day and the slot count is 14. Any value falling outside the range is treated according to the boundary flags.
